Post RECAP: The Winners of the Gnomish Word entries are...
As you may recall, we had a "mini-contest" during our 1st Annual Gnome contest.
The challenge was to come up with "Gnomish Terms" to be entered into our Gnomers Dictionary.

Below is a recap of the winners and their entries from Dec. 2007. You will see these winning terms incorporated into the dictionary in this section.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

AND THE DEC. 2007 WINNERS ARE:

FIRST PLACE: TOM with his Gnomish Term:
HOOTENGNOMEY: Gathering of Gnomes for the purpose of making music & dancing.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

2nd PLACE: XENIAJOY for her term:
MISGNOMEANOR: Committing a grave error in gnomescaping.

I liked this word so much that I changed it's meaning just a bit and as a result came up with another Gnomish Term to go with it!

MISGNOMEANOR: A gnomescaping crime less serious than a felognomey.
and
FELOGNOMEY: One or more serious violations a gnomer has made while gnomescaping.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

3rd PLACE: GNOMEHOPPER for her term:
GNOMESTEAD: Any dwelling or land where a Gnome and family makes its home.
