Those are...ummm... those are just scary as heck!
Thanks Mary! Now i will have gnome nightmares tonight! I used to think that gnomes were hideous as well, and the pictures here are what people who dislike gnomes think of when someone mentions gnomes. It wasn't until later in life, that I started to notice that gnomes can be cute little guys, and fun to collect! I like the ones I collect and keep inside, and my outside gnomes are pleasant surprises for folks who visit my garden. These terrifying gnomes however, would not be pleasant to come across at all! Some of them look criminally insane, actually! (shudder)

 You mean...there are more????
I shudder to think what more evil and/or scary gnome pics you have to share, Mary!
May I just say that these unfortunate gnomes were most likely meant to look like gentle, compassionate creatures, you know, how gnomes really are. But somewhere the artist's vision went askew! I just have to believe in my heart, that there aren't any real evil gnomes out there! AT LEAST I HOPE!

Re: GNIGHTMARE GNOMES! (Not for the squeamish!)
This type is the "mean or mischievous" Gnomes I was referring to in my profile about the ones I don't like. Ick!
Of course, for those that do like them, I'm not meaning to criticize. To each his own...but I don't want ANY of them!
Even those first ones...the big red-lipped ones....ick. Are they more British? I always think of Britain when I see those...

I went back and looked and saw that the red-lipped ones are German. Still ick.
